Extra Credit Assignments

• Excel/R Assignments 5 and 6 are extra credit. Below are the details of how the extra credit will be applied towards the final grade.
• Each assignments worth 15 points, for a total of 30 points towards the class total. For comparison, Excel/R Assignments 1-4 are worth 50 points of the 750 course total, and each midterm is worth 100 points.
• The extra credit will be taken into account in a way that does not negatively affect the grade. Thus, normal grade calculation will be performed first without taking extra credit into account. Only then extra credit will be added and possibly affect the final grade. Thus, due to the extra credit, each grade may only increase, and will never decrease.
