Math 481/581, Projects 2 and 3
Deadline: December 1, 2003
Purpose
- To solve a scientific problem using Octave or MATLAB
- To combine the use of LaTeX, Octave/MATLAB, optionally XFig to create a quality scientific presentation.
Details
You should follow the same pattern as in the previous project,
i.e. you should submit a list of files that implement a solution to
the problem you have selected.

What to turn in?
The zip archive project2.zip, containing the source of all Octave/MATLAB files,
paper.tex and figures, should be e-mailed to the address at the bottom
of this page as an attachment.
Important: The subject line of your e-mail must be (no spaces please, or my mail filter may send it
to the Big Bit Bucket (-: ):

A note on grading
You will receive a grade by e-mail on the project. The total grade for the project will reflect your 4-th homework
assignment.
